Airport Shuttle Service

The Denver International Airport is located approximately 25 miles from downtown Denver. Transport time is between 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Our preferred provider for shuttle service from the Denver International Airport to all downtown hotels is Big Sky Shuttle. Big Sky Shuttle is offering a discounted rate of $18.00 one way and $24.00 round trip to and from the airport. You can make reservations online by visiting www.bigskyshuttle.com or by calling 303-300-2626 or 1-877-336-8267. Please be sure to use the code "aera" to get the discounted rate, both when booking online or when you call. You may also purchase your tickets at the ticket counter inside the DIA terminal. The Big Sky Shuttle counter is located across from the tourist information booth and next to the RTD counter.

Taxis are also readily available at the airport. Taxi fare is a flat rate of $43 plus a gate fee of $3-$4 for up to 3 people; additional persons cost approximately $1-$2 each.

Information for Persons with Disabilities

AERA is committed to offering an accessible environment for persons with disabilities. The Association strives to support persons with special needs while they are attending the Annual Meeting. Most hotels are accessible to persons with disabilities. Please check the appropriate box on the Registration Form and indicate your room request in the Housing section of the form, to specify special ADA needs. This includes participants who may need interpreting assistance or any other special assistance. A note from a physician may be requested under extreme circumstances.

Attendees with special needs are also encouraged to visit the AERA Access Services Desk located at Registration in the Colorado Convention Center, Hall F, Upper Level, should the need arise. In addition, during the Annual Meeting, persons with disabilities who desire a place to relax are invited to visit the AERA Comfort Rooms located at the Colorado Convention Center and the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel. Specialized reading devices for visually impaired attendees will be available.

AERA strongly supports accessibility for those attending or presenting at the AERA Annual Meeting. Please review the guidelines for all those presenting at sessions (available at http://www.aera.net/2010AnnualMeeting.htm, "Presenter & Participant Information").
