This committee is responsible for (a) promoting awareness of the challenges, opportunities, and techniques for assessing individuals from a variety of different backgrounds, and (b) encouraging the active involvement of individuals from a variety of backgrounds in the organization.

NCME is proud to announce the availability of five $2000 Travel Scholarships to support Ph.D. students from underrepresented minority groups in their presentation of papers at the 2018 NCME Annual Meeting in New York City.  Students should be NCME members who are presenting authors of a paper accepted for oral presentation and are African American, Latino/a, and/or Native American. The application is available in the download section on this page. For consideration, applications must be submitted by 11:59PM PST on February 16, 2018. Applicants will be notified of funding decisions by March 1, 2018.
