The 2019 NCME Fitness Walk/Run in Toronto was a great success again this year! This year participants were able to enjoy much drier weather (compared to last year’s monsoon!) with a run along the waterfront. It was a great invigorating start to the last day of the conference. No need for buses again this year making it easy for everyone to make their early morning sessions after the event. We are so glad to see participants enjoying great conversation and connecting with friends, enjoying great views of large ships and one of the largest sugar processing plants in North America. We are also thankful for the race on-site coordinator for making this event such a success. We are also pleased to announce the winning teams for Team Participation Competition. The University of Iowa held its winning streak for the university category. We hope their enthusiasm for this event each year motivates other groups to compete in the future. We are in the early phases of planning for next year in San Francisco, so please feel free to contact us anytime with feedback and suggestions (watch for a survey from NCME) on making these events highlights of your NCME conference experience! Keep walking and running and have a great summer!
