The NCME List of Ph.D. Programs in Educational Measurement
The National Council on Measurement in Education (NCME) maintains this list of Ph.D. programs and faculty that support competencies in Educational Measurement in North America.
The primary purpose of this list is to provide prospective applicants with information about the strong network of scholarly institutions in North America whose faculty and students support the NCME Mission: to advance theory and applications of educational measurement to benefit society. Current graduate students, faculty, policymakers, and the public may also use this list to better appreciate the breadth and geography of expertise in the field.
All of these Ph.D. programs develop expertise in educational measurement competencies. However, programs vary in size, discipline, focus, funding, and possible future career paths. For more information, please follow the embedded links in the list, which describe programs, admissions procedures, faculty members, related Master’s degrees, and related Centers, as applicable.

Although this list is currently limited to Ph.D.-granting institutions in North America, NCME membership and activities include many international students, faculty, programs, and initiatives. NCME looks forward to expanding this list in the future.
