The NCME Educators of Measurement (EoM) SIGIMIE is taking the next step toward the goal of increasing student applicants to measurement graduate programs. The SIGIMIE will provide a brief update on our work on this issue. To continue to move forward, we need to learn more from measurement program faculty involved in recruiting and maintaining student engagement in the field. The open conversation will assist in gathering information to inform a survey of programs planned for December 2023. The EoM SIGIMIE invites you to join a conversation surrounding ways in which programs can collaborate to increase our student population. Topics to discuss will include the sharing of data to track progress, early student engagement in NCME, marketing ideas, undergraduate involvement in our field, and what we need to know from programs to inform a national agenda of recruiting.
