The ABCs of School Testing
Developed in 1993 by the Joint Committee on Testing Practices (JCTP) and a collaboration of several other testing organizations, this videotape is designed to help parents understand the many uses of testing in schools today. Various types of tests and their appropriate uses in the school setting are illustrated, and aptitude and achievement tests are also discussed. In addition to the videotape, two photocopied publications are also included: Leader's Guide and the Code of Fair Testing Practices.
