Travel Funding Application for the 2025 NCME Annual Meeting

NCME is proud to announce the availability of five $1500 Travel Scholarships for doctoral students from underrepresented racial and/or ethnic groups to present papers at the 2025 NCME Annual Meeting in Denver, CO. Applicants must be NCME members who are presenting authors of a paper accepted for presentation and are Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, American Indian or Alaska Native, and/or Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander.

Eligible applicants should fill out and submit the application form. As part of this application, you must include a copy of your accepted proposal and the acceptance email/letter from the Annual Meeting co-chairs for which you are the presenting author.

Travel funds may be used for lodging and meals/incidentals in addition to air and/or ground transportation. You are required to submit a brief report on your activities and a detailed accounting of your funding use to the NCME Committee on Diversity Issues in Testing (CODIT) within 30 days of the close of the Annual Meeting. Failure to do so may disqualify you from future funding through this Scholarship Program.

The priority deadline is February 1, 2025. Applications will be reviewed until all funds are exhausted through March 15, 2025.

Please reach out to the NCME CODIT chair, Merve Sarac (msarac@collegeboard.org), if you have questions.
